Inside the old Monastery of Carme, a building dating from the 14th Century, is one of the most spectacular private collections in the whole of Catalonia.
The former cloister, together with the church, are two of the original areas of the monastery which may be visited.

THE PERALADA CASTLE-CASINO
Located in one of the sections of the old castle of Peralada is the most impressive casino in the world due to its historical decoration. It has fruit machines, French roulette, black-jack, American roulette, punto y banca and boule. There is also a restaurant service, buffet, bar and rooms for conferences and banquets.

THE MUSIC FESTIVALS
In summer, the village of Peralada becomes an ideal place for music and dance. Every July and August, the Peralada Castle International Festival is held in the incomparable setting of the Castle gardens, with the best national and international artists taking part in this traditional event year after year.
