	This is a pretty little village of medieval layout beside the sea.
	It was here that the Greeks established a small port and trading post called Emporium which developed into the settlement of Paleopolis.
	Turbulent medieval times left fortifications in ruins there is also the 16th century church of Sant Martí, with a gothic facade and, over its entrance, an item of great documentary value; a marble plaque from the year 962. D. referring to the building of a pre-romanesque church on that same spot.
