This village is at the frontier, brodering the French county of Vallespir. |

|
It features a monument to the catalan president Lluís Companys, with an inscrption by Carles Rahola commemorating the flight into exile of Companys, Azaña, Negrín and other Republican leaders at the end of the Spanisch Civil War. |

|
From the village there is a wide view of the county. It is nowadays a popular place for summer homes, and its converted and restored old farmhouses give it a French air. |
